AWESOME up and coming band!!

This is my husband's side project band called River City Beggars.. this is their first 5 song album ever released and I've got to say it's pretty darn FANTASTIC. CHECK IT OUT! I assure you, you will not be disappointed.. it's surely not bad at all for a four month old band :D Enjoy!

Networking!

So I have spent many a LONG hours creating these networking portfolio sites, WHICH I really needed to do and SHOULD have done many a LONG time ago, and HOWEVER did take me quite the required bit of a hard earned sweated brow. Here are some screen shots of how they came out, though it would be BEST to simply click the links below and check them out for yourself. I first made the LinkedIn account where I also created a Behance Network account in order to show some of my portfolio. I concluded the night, and for the sake of this assignment, at four different portfolio "projects" that I thought truly summed up my abilities in a few folders. PLASTER casting!!!!

So this is a really cool idea of very basic and simple sculpture making... For my Art 110 class I had to go to the beach, dig a hole, bury my hand (creating a mold), pull my hand out, fill the hole with plaster of paris, wait 30 minutes, and discover an odd yet fantastic portrayal of my very own hand!! It was much simpler than anticipated and a very cool idea. Here are the results:

Started by putting my husband to work: digging me a hole

Yep! My arm is in place!

2 parts plaster, 1 part water

Mixing that plaster

Pour the Plaster

Done-wait 30 minutes

Wa-La! Its a monster!!
