A simple and modified DINNER (mac 'n cheese topped with beef, bacon, tomatoes, and sesame seeds) -

finally, DESSERT! so much dessert!!

Lovely Long Beach

So I traveled to wonderful Long Beach a few weeks ago and noticed quite wonderful accents of simple colored metal sculpture along the walking path of famous 2nd Street. I then realized they were simply decorative bike rails! How innovative and encouraging to the gas guzzling population of southern California! I took it upon myself to take photos and share the coolness of such an idea with whoever it is that decides my blog is worthy of a few minutes in their day. Aren't they cool?!

I also noticed creativity expanded beyond these colorful rails of joy. Every few parking meters, was a particularly special parking meter with a dedicated fake shadow expressing the lively excitement of wildlife in the city. Also very cool:

..and I can't forget the simple presence of individual creativity portrayed through the businesses and homes in the area..

I assume that this was someone's brilliant and artful way of keeping birds and other intruders away from their patio:

..something about these boxes, in the way they were positioned and the colors in them, REALLY just intrigued me:

..but that about concludes my journey in the beautiful and imaginative 2nd Street in Long Beach of Southern California.. I hope it inspires at least one other person than myself :) Have a wonderful rest of your day!
