A journey through the arctic jungle where you become consumed by your surroundings of trees, so many trees, five hundred different kinds of trees, and flowers, beautiful insects, kind and courageous animals, and a warming and welcoming sky with butterflies and sparrows fluttering by, greeting you a delightful day. This is what it must be like to live inside the mind of the very talented Possimiste. She is an incredible musician categorized as an “uber-experimentalist” and who's music surely calms the body and soul. Its very peaceful and intricate sounds leaves the listener wanting more.

Natalie, Christine, and Hillary had decided to choose this particular artist because she is so incredibly talented and young. The three of us in our early to mid-twenties could not find logical reason other than simply remarkable talent, perhaps a gift from God, that creates such amazing music from such a young and delightful girl. We are all blown away by the possibilities of her music and the raging growth of her career as a musician that we decided to try and find out her secrets of success.

Possimiste is an eighteen year old girl from Estonia. She says her goal in the near future is to live in a wood cabin in the middle of the forest and write music based directly from her experiences with nature. It is surely a simple task to imagine a majestic wonderland of a forest when listening to her experimental sounds. She takes much influence from her childhood, growing up with lovely supportive parents. She did admit that her love life also held relevance in her music writing, though no details could be squeezed out of her. She absolutely loves nature and life and her message to the world if only one could be heard is, “First, love is most important, and second, try not to think so much as to simply feel and allow your heart to guide your life.”

However Possimiste's sound is especially enjoyable because of it's variety and soothing mood. In one song you might hear up to seven different instruments, keeping your mental evaluation of music's technicality quite busy and pleased. However, at the same time, the music as whole gives an incredible aesthetic feel of simplicity and wonderland. It is perfect music to accompany other tasks such as homework, painting or drawing, writing, or other leisurely activities. She does most of the composition on a computer where she mixes the sounds of the chosen instruments so finely that a whole sound of thunderous beauty erupts. It's really quite pleasant.
