Lotus' First Birthday!

Today I interrupt a small portion of your life span to speak of events past. November 26th 2012 marks ONE tremendous year of age that my pup has now achieved in life. At the time we had a blast of a party and of course I took some pictures, but failed til now to post them. She is now officially one and half years old, my little baby is an official doggie adult. Please enjoy the photos and comment below!!
...she didn't like the hat too much but I managed to get a few shots...  suppose I started an apprehensive pup meme with these pictures :D ...

...and I discovered my extreme inability to frosting decorate...

...so I gave up...

almost three years down the road...

This last summer, on July 10th, 2012, Billy and I have been married for 2 whole whopping years.. and as an anniversary gift, I finally got him a legitimate wedding ring... and almost three years married now, I am finally posting the photos I've taken of the two of our rings together.. This is one thing, however, that I can confidently say is much cooler in person than in photos. I had a great metal smith from my school (CSULB) hand craft this ring with resemblance to the mountains in Peru where Billy grew up (Ticlio) as well as the amazing and famous quote engraved on the inside of the ring from his favorite movie and book series, "one ring to rule them all".  :D

Don't forget to click the images to enlarge!!

This was how I presented the gift :)

...the engraving is slightly visible in this one:
the end.
Thanks.

Need an Interior Designer?!

Today I traveled to one of my favorite cities, Orange, California. Here I took photos of the inside wonderful design of a Dentist office that a good friend of mine, Sandy Ellenburg, the greatest interior designer ever, did all of the design for!! I only hope my photos are justifiable to the incredible modern, comfortable and inviting dental space. What an oxymoron! Pay attention to the collection of the paint colors, crown molding, wall decor, sleek organization, lighting fixtures, etc. and simply enjoy the photos. If you are looking for an interior designer, simply click Sandy's name above and email your inquiries!

New Jersey Part II

FINALLY SPRING BREAK HATH ARRIVED! Thus I have some time to finally post the rest of the adventure I had in New Jersey like 3 weeks ago.. Better late than never I suppose!! Don't forget to click on the images to enlarge!

...we ventured the palisades mall in New York which was totally mathematical!!! (of course I'm watching adventure time right now). There were crazy awesome lights everywhere, it was humungous, had pink trash cans, and a three story ropes course!! Check it out!

...and of course I wandered the amazing huge family farm, though it looked a bit different than normal covered in snow :)

...and of course team snow ball fights :D   ..these images by Ellie Lenders of Sun and Sparrow Photography ...
Thanks for viewing today, I hope you enjoyed it all! :)

New Jersey

This week I was very abruptly and suddenly shaken with an incredibly last minute an unplanned week trip to New Jersey, unfortunately due to the passing of my husband's grandfather, Ronald Binaghi, or as we know him, Gramps. Though the circumstances were not why we would ever have wanted to come to the garden state, I am so glad we have. I have learned so much about this mysterious side of the family from across the country. I have grown to absolutely love their outrageous and vibrant souls. All of the lovely children and just fun outgoing family. It is such a loss to have to see one of them go, but such a pleasure for me personally to know I have gained such an incredible bit of family in Old Tappan.

Oh the many differences of this state from my own! Somehow I am still as comfortable as though I was home, perhaps even more. The lifestyle, the knowing almost everyone in such a small town, the life of a farmer (all of the (four now) Ronald Binaghis are farmers), the different tastes in food, the freshness of certain foods, the delightful temperament of the common stranger, and the vastly different weather. OH the weather! We knew it would be cold coming here, but coming from Los Angeles we had no idea how fresh the wonderfully cold air would feel and taste. I feel I've cured all damage I may have ever done to my lungs just by breathing here. Not to mention that TODAY it began to snow! This was truly a treat. My husband Billy had never been in falling snow and it was quite miraculous for us Californians.

Anywho, here are some photos I've taken today of the snow. There will be much more soon once I get a chance to blog again. Please enjoy these photos and don't forget to click on them to enlarge :D
First it began to rain..

 snow slowly began to form..

and then Billy got a phone call..

and before we knew it, SNOW EVERYWHERE!!!
and these shots LOOK like paintings, but they are just taken in the car

...until next time! thanks for viewing :)

lately..

This is pretty accurate to how I feel lately... school, though enjoyable and oh, how I love learning (seriously).. is just killing me with such outrageous expectations. But blog I must!! Here is FINALLY the second half of the photos from the last post. These of course less focused on the epically super awesomely fantastic abandoned train, and more on my good friend Kylea, who is probably the only person very repeatedly appearing in this blog.. As is appropriate as she is also an aspiring photographer.  (check out kylea tigner photography on facebook!) Anywho, enjoy the photos and I will try much harder to have more consistent blogs this month! THANKS!
-don't forget to click on the photos to enlarge!-
-leave a comment if you like what you see or even if you don't! :D-

i've been workin on the railroad...

Here is just a simple and fun shoot I did the other day with my good friend kylea at our local abandoned railroad. There are more to follow but for now, I will simply leave you with these.. and seeing as it is 1:47am and I have had quite the long day, I will include no such elaborate stories. This time, I will allow the images to speak for themselves. Remember to click on them to enlarge! :) and Thanks for visiting my blog today.
